Hornby was pretty sweet. We camped on a warm pebble beach that we renamed Moonrise Beach, because the rising harvest moon led us to the end of the trail. We didn’t need tents or anything, just slept beside the fire. In the daytime we swam in the ocean and met new friends on the beach, and I got a wicked massage and went to a yoga class in the evening. Horby Island on a hot summer weekend is probably the best place in the whole world.
